Hi everybody,
You might know me as the developer of the Latvia rebuild map mod. However, after mapping Latvia for so long, I got a bit bored and wanted to try something new. That’s why I decided to start to map the United Arab Emirates, as I’d been quite amazed by a visit to there.
My plan for the map is detailed below, where the initial building stage is highlighted in purple and the second is highlighted in green:

As you can see, I will be starting from Abu Dhabi and then moving along the E11 to Dubai.
Now, as this is a completely new area I’m mapping, the assets for it are very lacking, so their creation is going to take a long time. I would also need to see if the Iberia DLC would bring some assets which might be useful for developing this region. Nonetheless, here is just a sample of what assets I’ve created so far (it’s very WIP at the moment, as you can see):

I also don’t intend for the project to be dependent on any other mods other than BenganJ’s background maps (huge shoutout to this legend for helping me with the BG map!). The map will however require ALL map DLCs when it’s released, including Iberia when that comes out.
Keep in mind that I don’t have a set plan for when I’ll be finished with either (again, it’s probably going to take some time), but, as you’ve heard countless times from other mappers, it’s ready when it’s ready!
